Leicht + Müller demands very much from its stamping tools as well as its injection molds. That makes it easier to integrate them into complex processes that lead to first class assemblies. Therefore building our own production lines is a promising move and integrating cutting and bending into injection molds presents interesting options to our customers.
Sensor production line –
There are various applications for reed switches, such as in automotive systems, home automation or medical technology. At Leicht + Müller they serve as the core of automotive fluid level sensors, which are produced in fully automated production lines including linear axis handling.
The lines consist of 2 connected Engel or Arburg injection molding machines.

Bihler nc-technology at Leicht + Müller adds even more options for the realization of complex assemblies. The highly flexible Bimeric nc-manufacturing and assembly system can implement specific requirements quickly and efficiently. Stamping and bending, feeding and assembly of plastic components, measuring and testing – for each task we have the right line-up. Obviously Leicht + Müller emphasizes top quality here as well, using its own components and tooling next to the sophisticated Bihler equipment.
Seat occupancy sensor –
well placed with high-tech
Leicht + Müller developed an especially efficient solution for the production of seat occupancy sensor components for automotive suppliers. The automated line is built for high volumes at top quality. Rotary table technology and high-speed Epson robots save time through optimally tuned production steps and provide very precise results. The line performs a 100% function test, laser coding and sorting of bad-parts to ensure that the high requirements are always met.
Customized production lines – all requirements covered
Leicht + Müller can also realize customers’ wishes for smaller volumes with its semi-automated production lines. That enables flexible, high quality and economical process steps such as printing plastic parts through hot-stamping, resistor assembly, thermoplastic staking of magnets and stitch-in assembly.
